Another new and aesthetic dessert parlour opened its door in Richmond recently. Located in Continental Shopping Center, One Cake Boutique is known for its chiffon cake and freshly made cream. It has been awhile since my last visit. I remembered coming here a year ago, when it first opened. Today, I revisited this cafe, because I won a $25 gift card at a giveaway from Quantum Coffee. However, this would not change my honest review about this cafe. When I first came here one year ago, I loved the vibe and how spacious and bright this place it. More importantly, it had a lot of space for customers to work and study. Unfortunately, this recent visit was disappointing. Everything changed.
I was very excited when I heard there is a newly opened dessert place in my neighborhood. Bambu features Chè or Vietnamese home-made beverages, dessert drinks, and puddings. With over 70 locations in the U.S., the first store in Canada finally arrived in Vancouver. Since the store is very close to my house, I just can’t resist to come here more often.
