Recently, I was invited to one of the participated restaurant for the #BBQlicious event hosted by Budweiser. The event celebrates the best slow-cooked BBQ at some of the top restaurants across Canada. I chose to try the BBQ at Smokes & Bones BBQ. It is located in Lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver. It is a 10 minute bus ride from the Lonsdale Quay. Although the restaurant is far away from the city, it has numerous reviews and a 4.4 rating on Google. I was excited to try the ribs in person!(more…)
Recently, I did a series of Instagram stories on spending just $30 (excluding the admission) in this year’s Richmond Night Market, and many love it! Therefore, I decide to come up with an ultimate food guide for you, especially if you have limited budget. This year’s admission is $4.95 per person, with an option to purchase the Express Pass for $28 (include 6 visits). If you are planning to go only once, I prefer just getting the one-time pass. I tried 25 stalls in the Richmond Night Market, and I was surprised by this year’s creativity and overall quality of the food. Concluding my two visits to Richmond Night Market, here are the top 10 food items that you should try on your next visit.(more…)

To escape from the crowd and the expensive Valentine’s Day dinner, we decided to have a lunch at Nightingale on the weekend instead. There are few reasons for us to choose this restaurant:
- I really enjoyed my first visit with my coworkers.
- This is opened by David Hawksworth, who also owns my most favourite restaurant in Vancouver, Hawksworth Restaurant.
- We saw roasted bone marrow on the menu!
