[CLOSED] Food Crawl Stop #4 – Candy Tree Dessert

It has been a while since I last update on our Food Crawl that happened back in January. But here I am, back on track! Candy Tree Dessert was our first dessert stop, after all those savory dishes from Hoi An Cafe, CHAU Veggie Express, and Sushi by Yuji. It is located in South Burnaby, and it specializes in Asian-style desserts, such as waffles, shaved ice, and sweet soup (糖水), etc. And we were here to try out its Durian Waffle Tower.

After we ordered, we then realized that all six of us are not a fan of durian at all, so I guess this is a food challenge!  (more…)

Lu Charcoal Grill

Are you sick of the regular breakfast with sunny-side up eggs, bacon, and toast? What about trying an authentic experience Chinese breakfast? Lava Matcha Mooncakes

Tomorrow is Mid-Autumn Festival, and I hope everyone is enjoying their mooncakes. Every year, my mom would buy Snow Skin mooncake from T&T Supermarket, and this year, there was no exception. In addition, she also bought a box of Lava Matcha mooncakes from Arome Bakery in Hong Kong.
