Macaron Class at Bon Macaron Patisserie

Macarons are one of the most delicate and difficult desserts to master, and I have failed quite a few times and still wasn’t successful until recently. I got invited to a macaron making class from Bon Macaron Patisserie, and I really enjoyed the overall experience of learning how to make macarons while connecting with other influencers.

Gyo Para Gyoza & Ramen Bar

When it comes to ramen, there are many options in Vancouver, and some taste better than the others. For example, you can always see a long line up at Ramen Danbo regardless of time and day. To be honest, I think the quality from this new shop beats some of the bigger brands out there.

[RECIPE] Matcha Lava Chiffon Cake

My secret Santa got me some 4-inch chiffon cake molds, and ever since I have used them to bake my cakes. Compared to a 6-inch cake, 4-inch cake is perfect for two people. It is also very good for people who are on diet, but still want to have some small treats. It is Ethan’s birthday, so instead of buying a cake from a bakery, I decided to make him a small surprise – Matcha Lava Chiffon Cake! The cheese foam in the centre will ooze out and create a beautiful and fancy lava effect.
