It is not surprising to see more bubble tea shops open in Vancouver. Baroness (小黑糖) is located in Kitsilano at the previous spot of In Tea. It specializes in brown sugar pearls, and the franchise owner created his very own secret recipe. They are also known for oat milk beverage, which is an excellent option for people who cannot have milk.

A Toi Gourmet Gifts x O5 Rare Tea Bar Collaboration

A Toi Gourmet Gifts was launched about a year ago, and it specializes in giftable candies and french pastries with the finest ingredients. The owners believe that gifting should be fun and memorable to both gifter and receiver. Recently, they collaborate with O5 Rare Tea Bar, a quaint tea-tasting bar in Kitsilano, to create a Rare Tea Dessert Set. It infuses different kinds of tea in handmade French pastries.

Sunday Brunch Date at Mak N Ming

I was researching on brunch spots in Vancouver, and I found that Mak N Ming is relaunching their annual Summer Sunday Brunch, starting May 19. This is the 3rd season, and I missed the last two. Mak N Ming is located in Kitsilano, just blocks away from the Kitsilano Beach. They highlight Japanese-meets-French cuisine. With limited seatings, I highly recommend to reserve through OpenTable ahead of time.

I got invited to a macaron making class from Bon Macaron Patisserie, and I really enjoyed the overall experience of learning how to make macarons while connecting with other influencers.

Gyo Para Gyoza & Ramen Bar

When it comes to ramen, there are many options in Vancouver, and some taste better than the others. For example, you can always see a long line up at Ramen Danbo regardless of time and day. Or some are hidden like this one, Gyo Para Gyoza & Ramen Bar. It is a spacious restaurant that is located in the heart of Kitsilano on the corner of West Broadway and Arbutus Street. Although the ramen bar is on such a busy street, it can be easily missed, but the handmade gyoza and ramen are what Brenda and I are coming for.
