Ramen is the perfect comfort food during a rainy day, and I was invited to try the newest creation at Marutama Gaiden, a spin-off ramen joint of Marutama Ramen located on Main Street. I recently consolidated a list of restaurants that I want to visit in the near future with other foodies, and Sweetery Cafe + Desserts is one of them. Last Saturday, Jan and I decided to go to this hidden gem for a brunch date. The cafe was spacious and cozy, decorated with wooden furniture. The brunch menu is served on weekends from 8am to 2:30pm. We chose two dishes to share – Chicken & Waffles and Cajun Crabcake Benny.
