TAO Skinfood delivers on Peach Gum

Peach Gum starts to become popular in Vancouver, and it is the Asian secret to beautiful skin. While it is often used in sweet soup and desserts, TAO Skinfood created a series of drink using peach gum, along with other natural supplements, such as goji berries and snow fungus. These drinks can be enjoyed chilled or hot, and they are my new favourite drinks in this summer.

Lumiere Patisserie: Affordable, Unique Tea-Infused Pastries

Recently, I have been trying some tea infused pastries from a new local online shop – Lumiere Patisserie. The founder of Lumiere Patisserie, Amy Chen, is a passionate pastry chef and has ongoing passion and interest in the baking industry. She wants to incorporate Asian culture and tea into classic French pastries. She also wants her guests to enjoy her treats without hesitate, so her pastries uses high-quality ingredients, with minimal sugar and fat.

eF & Be Bakehouse x Yama Cafe: New Online Japanese Bakehouse in Vancouver

On July 20, 2019, it was a special day for me because I purposely woke up for a pop up hosting at Yama Café. Though I am a food blogger, I rarely wake up early for food and lineups. I have made an exception to eF & Be Bakehouse, a online bakery that features Japanese pans and pastries. And of course, it has been awhile since I last visited Yama Café so it was the perfect opportunity for me to pay a visit.

ThirsTea Vancouver (賊好喝)

Every month, there is at least one new bubble tea shop opening in Vancouver, and as a foodie, I can barely keep up with the names of the shops, or even which place tastes the best. Once in a while, there is one that catches my attention, and I am about to introduce you to one of my recent favourites. To be honest, I think the quality from this new shop beats some of the bigger brands out there.
