BlackBall Canada – the Best Taiwanese Dessert in Vancouver

BlackBall Canada is about to open their BC’s first location in Richmond, and I was lucky enough to have a sneak peak of their menu and some of the signature dessert items. It is a bright and spacious corner store, located at the Union Square. Unlike majority of the dessert places in Vancouver, it has two floors. Although the second floor is still under construction, I am excited to be up there once they opened to the public. Now let’s get into the real talk!

Vitality Steam Seafood, enjoying OceanWise Seafood at its finest

Steam seafood has been popular in Asia for a while, because you can enjoy the seafood at its fullest. The fresh seafood is steamed with no additional seasonings. The juice from the fresh seafood will fall through the steamer and into the congee at the bottom. At the end of the meal, the aromatic congee will be ready. I still remembered those good old times when my friends and I were celebrating birthday at a AYCE hotpot place, but for the past years, more hotpot places opened in Vancouver. I was lucky to be invited to a media event, hosted by ChineseBites and Tourism Richmond. I tried 25 stalls in the Richmond Night Market, and I was surprised by this year’s creativity and overall quality of the food. Concluding my two visits to Richmond Night Market, here are the top 10 food items that you should try on your next visit.

Yelp Elite Event at 75 West Coast Grill: Revamp of American Grill

75 West Coast Grill, formerly known as American Grill, opened its door to the public few months ago after a big renovation with the Vancouver Airport Marriott. I have never been to American Grill before, so I am not able to compare the decor between the two. But the revamp is definitely eye-catching. The earthy and marble decor and ambiance adds a comfortable and relaxing feel to the restaurant.
