Mr. Mustache Tea & Dessert: Bento Box and Oolong Tea Macchiato

It is difficult to look for a cafe that opens until midnight in Vancouver, but if you are in the Burnaby or Marpole area, I have a recommendation for you. Mr. Mustache Tea & Dessert has 2 locations, one on Granville Street and one across Metrotown on Sussex Street. The best thing about the cafe is that it opens until midnight. It is surprised to see how packed it is around 10 pm. Recently, the Burnaby location launched a new dessert, Bento Box, an earl grey cake with fresh pearls on the side.

Delicious, New Vegan Menu Items – Now at JINYA Ramen Bar

Over the past years, many restaurants start to offer a handful of selections for vegan and vegetarian on their menu, and there is no exception in this famous ramen shop – JINYA Ramen Bar. Last year, they launched the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, and I regret not trying it earlier myself. Although I am not vegan, this vegan ramen is incredibly delicious. I have to admit that this ramen changes my previous impression of JINYA Ramen Bar. Recently, additional items are added to the vegan menu, which takes care of the different eating diets of the customers.

Old Street Crepe: Chinese Crepe & Unique Chinese Desserts

A few weeks ago, I made my first visit to Old Street Crepe, featuring Chinese crepes, Taiwanese beef noodles, as well as traditional Chinese desserts that are rarely found in Vancouver. It is located in Burnaby, just a 5-minute walk across from Metrotown. When I was there for a media tasting, there is an on-going promotion where you can get 50% off if you share a photo on Instagram and tag @oldstreetcrepe.

Weekend Tea: Premium Quality Fruit Tea in South Burnaby

Last week, I brought my friends to try out a newly-opened tea shop in Burnaby, across from OneZo Tapioca. Unlike any bubble tea shops out there, Weekend Tea is known for fruit teas made with real fruits. From sweetness, flavors, to toppings, all drinks are customized to pair well with every element. For example, the Lychee Fruit Tea is paired with aloe vera and lychee bits. Therefore, customers are not given the option to customize sweetness or add toppings to the drinks.
