Last week, I brought my friends to try out a newly-opened tea shop in Burnaby, across from OneZo Tapioca. Unlike any bubble tea shops out there, Weekend Tea is known for fruit teas made with real fruits. From sweetness, flavors, to toppings, all drinks are customized to pair well with every element. For example, the Lychee Fruit Tea is paired with aloe vera and lychee bits. It has been awhile since I last update on our Food Crawl that happened back in January. But here I am, back on track! Candy Tree Dessert was our first dessert stop, after all those savory dishes from Hoi An Cafe, CHAU Veggie Express, and Sushi by Yuji. It is located in South Burnaby, and it specializes in Asian-style desserts, such as waffles, shaved ice, and sweet soup (糖水), etc. And we were here to try out its Durian Waffle Tower.
